Soup Base
Denise’s soup Base. The base for any general vegetable soup. Can add to personal taste.
Ingredients
- 1kg of chosen vegetable
- 1 large potato
- 1 onion or 2 shallots,
- 6 cups boiling water
- 2 teaspoons stock powder
- ½ teaspoon chopped thyme
- Salt and pepper
- 225 grams Nestles reduced cream
- 60 grams butter
- ½ cup grated cheese
Method
- Put first 6 ingredients in saucepan. Cook until soft. Remove and blend. Return to stove and stir in remaining ingredients.
- Garnish with chopped chives.
