Sisyrinchium Bellum - 'Blue Eyed Grass'

HAT COLOUR: Blue

SPECIAL QUALITIES: Attractive, blue green grassy foliage and myriads of starry blue flowers.

FLOWERS: The blue flowers appear through spring and summer
 

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 12-15
 

HABIT: A clump forming grass-like perennial plant.

POSITION & USES: Blue Eyed Grass prefers full sun and well drained soil. Plant in drifts with other low growing perennials or succulents.

CULTIVATION: Easily grown in any good garden soil. Grows in poor soils but will benefit from any soil improvements like mulch or compost.

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
