Scabiosa ‘Rosea’ - Pink Pinchushion

HAT COLOUR: Pink

SPECIAL QUALITIES: A low growing plant with attractive dissected foliage & lovely pincushion flowers that are good for cutting.

FLOWERS: The pink pincushion flowers are abundant from spring till autumn.

HABIT: An evergreen perennial plant with attractive compact foliage.
 

POSITION & USES: Prefers a sunny position in normal garden soil. Use at the front of a perennial bed or as an edging plant along a path. Looks great interspersed with Nepeta.

CULTIVATION: Trim off spent flowers in winter but do not cut back hard.

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed in spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
