Salvia 'Waverley'

HAT COLOUR: Mauve

SPECIAL QUALITIES: This plant is a great all round performer. It flowers almost all year, has attractive veined leaves and is tidy and easy to care for

FLOWERS: The flowers are bicoloured with purpley bracts and mauve-pink flowers which cover the plant for most of the year.

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 1

HABIT: A rounded, medium sized, shrub.
 

POSITION & USES: Plant in full sun in normal garden soil. Use with other low shrubs and perennials that prefer drier conditions, such as Penstemon, Cistus and Convolvulus
 

CULTIVATION: Easily grown and requires little attention. Trim to shape if necessary in winter.
 

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
