Salvia Farinacea

HAT COLOUR: 'Victoria White'- White; 'Victoria Blue' - Blue

SPECIAL QUALITIES: A free flowering plant that makes a great show when planted en masse.

FLOWERS: Each plant produces many upright spikes of pure white or blue flowers throughout the warmer months 
 

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 10-12
 

HABIT: A dense, many branched, low growing perennial plant.
 

POSITION & USES: Plant in a sunny position in normal garden soil to which fertilizer has been added. Salvia farinacea is best used in large groups for mass effect. It also makes a great show in pots with other perennials.

CULTIVATION: Cut approximately 10cm from the ground after flowering. A second flowering may result. Cut again at the beginning of winter.

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
