SPECIAL QUALITIES-This plant has delightful pureed strawberry colored flowers clustered along a stout upright stem arising from a bed of soft green foliage.
FLOWERS-Strawberry pink flowers over summer.
PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE- 4-5
HABIT- Forms a rosette of large veined leaves with the flowering stem rising from the centre of the leaves giving a lovely symmetrical habit.
POSITION & USES-Part shade or sun in normal garden soil. Ideal for cottage gardens but its symmetrical habit encourages creative use in more formal styles
CULTIVATION- Cut the flower stem to the ground when flowers finish. Mulch in hot weather and use pet safe snail baits as necessary The addition of organic matter is beneficial.
FERTILISING- Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
