SPECIAL QUALITIES-A classic cottage garden plant. Foxgloves look great in large clumps or in drifts under tall trees
FLOWERS-The lovely, tall, apricot flower spikes appear from mid spring to early summer.
PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE- 5-6
HABIT- A clump forming perennial with large basal leaves and tall flowering spikes.
POSITION & USES-Grow in sun or part shade and water adequately in hot weather. Suited to a cottage garden but also useful to add colour to shrubby areas.
CULTIVATION- Easily grown in any reasonable garden soil. Cut the flowering stem to the ground when flowers are spent. Pet safe snail baits may be required
FERTILISING-Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed in spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
