Chard Golden

Beta vulgaris 'Golden'

An eye catching plant with golden stems and large deep green foliage.

Growing Tips: Plant in moist well drained soil. Can also be grown in large pots.

Position: Full sun

Height: 45cm Width: 30cm

Lifespan: Perennial

Use: Best used lightly steamed and served with butter and mixed herbs. Young leaves can be used in salads. Do not over cook. Use in salads with other leafy vegetables or as side dish for fish dishes.

Harvest: Harvest leaves as needed when leaves are 10cm long or larger.
