SPECIAL QUALITIES-Californian Poppies are wonderful free flowering plants with attractive foliage.

FLOWERS- The single flowers appear throughout spring and in summer and autumn with new young plants.

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE- 6-8

HABIT-    An annual plant that self seeds so that it naturalizes in a garden bed. Easily removed where not required.

POSITION & USES- A versatile plant that thrives in a wide range of conditions but prefers a sunny position and dryer soil. Use with other dry tolerant plants such as Limonium, Euphorbia and succulents.

CULTIVATION- Little cultivation needed other than an occasional summer watering.

FERTILISING- Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
